A unique DIY idea, for decorating your makeup table!

This is actually a picture frame, which I turned into a bracelet holder.

 For bracelets, which don't  have a clasp, I used a gold ribbon to hang them.

My fitness routine


Hello, gorgeous!

This period of time, I exercise almost daily, either in the mornings or late in the afternoons. I am doing a variety of aerobic exercises, facial muscle exercises and I'm also taking dance classes.

Before I attempt to go through an exercise, I always leave the fitness tutor complete the work-out, while I examine carefully his/her posture(s) and estimate the level of difficulty. When I decide that the exercise is in the range of my capabilities, I follow the tutor's advice so that I avoid any injuries, e.g. For exercises that demand stability, I use a chair as a support before I bring a foot in the air.

When I'm physically tired or sick, I avoid exercising. In this situations, it's always better to take the advice of a physician first, before following a specific set of exercises.

Easter Themes: Ideas for decorating your home!


In the past few days I was involved in an Easter fun project... 


First, I chose to decorate the living room with spring flower bouquets in the note of pink! 



Then, on the large coffee table I placed some Easter candles, wishing cards and an Easter basket, which I intend to fill with small chocolate eggs.



I also placed some Easter mobile crafts here and there to cheer up the room.




Finally, I had some kitchen shelves decorated with Easter themes.


Easter themes: Chicks, eggs, bunnies, lambs, birds & petals!

Spring moments of my life!


Hey, beauties! Happy Spring time! 
Today is a sunny cheerful day, so I am doing some shopping, with my friend Marilia! 


Today's Outfit & Accessories:
On a white long-sleeve blouse, I added a short-sleeve floral top.
I finished the look with a necklace made of many colorful stones!
I picked some bracelets with pink and white pearls, for a most romantic spring result. My nails are polished in a glitter white color and fingers are decorated with silver rings.

My make-up & body creams:
I use a waterproof eye liner pencil in the color of Indian turquoise.
For the moment, I use mango & papaya body cream,
raspberry & blackberry body lotion and my recent favorite one, ginger lily body cream!

What I got from stores:
At the bookstore, I got some wishing cards for Easter
and two recipe books with this so cute pictures and simple instructions : 
1. Cook it step by step, 2. Cookbook for girls. 

At the shopping Mall, I got two pairs of leggings in a black and white design. 
Also, at the accessories department, I found an adorable 
wooden heart with this message:
 "If friends were flowers, I would pick You"
So, Marilia picked it up for me! xxx

From the Home department, Marilia bought a set of vintage plates with spring flowers & bees on them
and some chair pillows in a pastel pink and blue colors!

At the coffee table:
Marilia ordered yogurt delight with berries, while I had the yogurt with honey & walnuts.
We also had a glass of fresh carrot-orange-apple juice! 
Yummy!

Healthy Habits: Yes/No List


 This weekend & beginning of the new month, allow yourself to do something nice with your family. You can work-out together, go to the grocery shop and pick out fresh veggies and fruits, make a trip in the country and breathe some fresh air... Try to create good memories that will keep your spirits high, when it's time to go back to work.


Train yourself to keep a clean mind about everything & try not to take the car when you feel frustrated or angry, because it could be dangerous for you & the other drivers. Relax and focus on what you can control and makes you happy. 

Remember, the best is yet to come!



Skin irritation: How I ended up with yogurt all over my face!



For quite some time now, I have been using a body milk moisturizer for very dry skin, to deal with my dehydrated face skin.

I kept using it,  until it proved dangerous for my face; 
the latter has turned red, all at once, and felt hot, like fever. It was a terrible feeling :(

I immediately informed my beautician about the incident & she told me that the product was not suitable for my skin type:

My skin was dehydrated, yet not dry (Dehydration is a condition & not a skin type!)

Finally, yogurt saved the day... and my face! I applied a rich portion on my skin and left it there, until irritation was gone ;)




Dehydrated skin? Drink more water!


No matter if it's winter & cold & you may not get easily thirsty..., try to drink 
8 cups of water a day, in order to maintain adequate fluid balance & healthy skin!
