I would never imagine that this summer would be so amazing!
Excursions to the mountains or by the sea are so reviving!

I really wish that you spend awesome time wherever you are, guys!

So, today I'll write a little bit about my daily routine...

About food: Did you know? This period of time, I like to drink banana milkshakes & have small portions of melon fruit, as a snack!

About demake-up: I use a facial cleansing milk with vanilla extract (kiwi, apricot milk & white tea, as well) ideal for removing dust, smegma & dead cells! It makes my skin look good!

About clothes & accessories: I like combinations of sea blue & romantic pink colors!

Photo 2: Idea for organizing your dressing table:
Nail polishes on a vitro glass disc!

About home decor: I like to re-decorate my dressing table, as often as possible! It gives my whole bedroom a refreshed look! For a fresh start, I'm  thinking of getting a new bed & change the window curtains!

About good habits: I like to have a good oral hygiene for a good health!

That's all! (Well, almost!)  Keep well, xox

Dot to dot guide, for nail designs!

♪♫ La, la, la la la... ♪♫ La, la, la la love...  fashion nails!♪♫

Make your own nail art, girl!

All you need is the dotting tool, and you' re ready to get started!

Firstly, choose a nice pink color to paint your nails & let them dry.

Then, using a white nail varnish, make a large white dot

on a piece of paper & dip inside your dotting tool.

Use the tool to make flower petals on each nail.

Let the nails dry & go for the last step,

which is to add the flower pollen.

To do that, use a yellow varnish

& you're finally done!

Photos: Daisy flower designs on nails!

Tip: You can gently dip the dotting tool directly inside the nail varnish, depending on how practical this can be for you.

My trip to Poland: Photos & Story telling

Dear friends,

my trip to Poland was honestly an unforgettable experience,

that you only live once in a lifetime!

Cooking class

The making of traditional Polish "pierogi"
(dumplings with mushroom/ lamb/ pork.)

At the museum of Easter painted eggs, in Lipsk.

Local ladies in their traditional clothes,
explained to us that  eggs come in various sizes
and each egg carries a unique design.

Eggs are first cleaned from the inside
(the yolk is removed through a small hole
& then, they are washed with soap and water)

Afterwards, flower designs are made on the eggs
with a special tool,
 which is dipped in wax.

Polish traditional wedding cake, made with holy water & prayer!

On the top, the cake is decorated
with small birds,
which symbolize the young bride.

At the traditional food festival, in Kurianka...

Local ladies getting ready to sing traditional songs

"Sekacz" traditional cake is being cooked, around the fire.

It took 30 eggs and 1½hours of cooking!

The food experience was rich!

I tasted a traditional dish, which involved boiled potatoes
stuffed with pork minced meat.
I also had some beetroot soup, which was like drinking punch!

Around the picnic fire, we got to cook sausages
& dance!

Milking the cow, for the first time in my life :)

The Camaldolese monastery, at Wigry, & watchtower.

Having a gondola trip...

Moments of great relaxation!

At the salt cave, enjoying a SPA experience!

Last night out... Drinking "tequila sunrise!"

-IT WAS A WONDERFUL TRIP, I'LL NEVER FORGET-

My summer lookbook: Outfit & Hairstyle suggestion, for a formal event!

Hey, loves!

If you are attending
a (semi) formal event,
why don't you try on
a maxi polyester dress,
with colorful details?
Combine the dress with a pair
of modern platform shoes &
complete the look with accessories
of your choice :)
Try also the ballerinas' hair look & secure hair with a fake hair bun!

Love you guys,

xxx

Traditional Food Photo Event

Lately, I've been in a traditional food photo exhibition.

Seasonal, festive, and daily foods were displayed on the wall
(e.g. black eye beans with summer crookneck squash,
Easter cheese pies, or
rusks with local coffee, for the afternoon brake)
Every photo also came with a personal story telling.

The event involved two speeches:
The first underlined the necessity to retain our food heritage, not only through bibliography, but through practicing the recipe itself. To achieve that, devoting time and having a firm willingness to learn is what it takes.
The second speech called the audience to see some more photos and try to guess the name of the food, its origin, its ingredients, its story.

I'm looking forward to live this experience again. It's a great opportunity to meet with people from various villages, talk with them, and find more about my tradition!

More food for thought:
-How familiar are you with the food tradition of your home country? Do you read or watch TV programs about your local cuisine?
-What's your favorite traditional meal?

Summer 2025

Dear Diary, It's been long since my very last post, but hey who knows maybe I'll be back again with more writing.  It's only now...
